Just over a month removed from the end of the Kings 2016-17 campaign, and over five months until the team returns to action at Golden 1 Center, Sacramento’s young core has its sights set on progress.
Since the conclusion of the season, Kings Willie Cauley-Stein, Buddy Hield, Georgios Papagiannis and Skal Labissiere have voluntarily returned to the the city with an emphasis on the hardwood and weight room.
Together, the group is continually working both on and off the court to improve in all possible aspects.
The unit recently hit the track to work on conditioning alongside Kings Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Ramsey Nijem. Between 800 meter team runs and other active conditioning drills, Sactown’s young roster took the challenges in stride, displaying their work ethic in the early days of the offseason.
With the NBA Summer League approaching in July, the group, alongside Malachi Richardson – who continues recovering from injury – hopes to show a glimpse of their efforts to Sacramento faithful.
