CAMDEN – With summer league competition right around the corner, the 76ers announced Wednesday they will conduct a three-day mini-camp in preparation for play in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas.
Practice sessions will run this Thursday through Saturday, and be held at the team’s training complex in Camden, New Jersey.
The Sixers are slated to open their summer league schedule Monday, with their first of three games in the Utah Jazz Summer League. They face the Boston Celtics Monday (7:00 PM EST), Utah Jazz Wednesday (9:00 PM EST), and San Antonio Spurs Thursday (7:00 PM EST).
By the end of next week, the Sixers will be on to the second leg of their summer tour, taking part in preliminary round action of the Samsung NBA Summer League. The club is guaranteed to play at least five times, with its first three opponents being the Golden State Warriors (7/8, 10:30 PM EST), San Antonio (7/9, 10:30 PM EST), and Boston (6:30 PM EST).
Participants in the Sixers’ summer league mini-camp will be disclosed at a later time.
