Five things to know about the Pelicans on July 11, 2017

1)      The Pelicans officially announced the signing of second-round pick Frank Jackson this morning.

5)      The summer Pelicans were competitive in their two previous games, losing by just two points apiece, but as a result of their 0-3 mark and only winning 2.5 quarters, they will be seeded either 23rd or 24th when the NBA Summer League tournament begins Wednesday in Las Vegas. The only team that could potentially finish lower than New Orleans is Washington (0-2, 2 quarters won), which faces Chicago today.
