Cavaliers, Derrick Rose to meet Monday with eye on contract

CLEVELAND — As expected, the Cavaliers and Derrick Rose will meet today to continue their discussions on a possible one-year deal pairing the former MVP with LeBron James as a potential replacement for Kyrie Irving.

Rose, 28, the NBA MVP in 2011, would join the Cavs on a veteran’s minimum deal for $2.1 million soon. The meeting, which was imminent, is in Cleveland, sources confirmed to cleveland.com.

Nike embraces LeBron James’ love of wrestling with new shoes

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Amid all the drama evolving the Cavaliers, Nike is still looking to have some fun this week with the release of its latest LeBron James shoe.

On Friday, July 28, Nike will release new LeBron 14 GS colorways inspired by three of the greatest WWE superstars of all time.
