Entering high school, Jonathan Isaac was a 6-foot-3 freshman guard with exciting potential. By senior year’s end, Isaac was a 6-foot-10 forward whose game the nation had seen rise alongside his height. Averaging 17.6 points per game and 10 rebounds with IMG Academy, the five-star recruit was ranked as the No. 12 prospect in the Class of 2016 by ESPN.
Between appearances at the Nike Hoop Summit and the Jordan Brand Classic, the New York native cemented his place among the nation’s top recruits.
At Florida Sate, Isaac continually displayed a versatile, well-rounded game between his defensive abilities to guard positions one through four, crash the glass and play as a slasher, spot-up shooter or in transition on the offensive end.
The 19-year-old’s best effort came in a 23-point, 10-rebound and seven-block win over Notre Dame, showing his versatility on both ends of the floor.
