Chuck's Daily Check In 11.14.17

BULLS UPDATE: Head Coach Fred Hoiberg is hoping competitive practices will carry over to games and it better start tomorrow in Oklahoma City against a Thunder ballclub having won their last two games. Paul George is on fire and playing like the “PG-13” of Indiana. The Bulls have a mid morning practice and leave for OKC this afternoon.

INSIDE THE LOCKER ROOM: Fred Hoiberg’s ball club will not have a lot of down time once they resume tomorrow against the Thunder. The Bulls play every other day or back to backs until a two day gap December 2nd and 3rd.

CCI 24 SECONDS IN THE LOCKER ROOM: I have a very good professional relationship with both Niko Mirotic and Bobby Portis. I’m hoping the two will be able to focus on the present and future and think about winning ballgames for the franchise. That’s the bottom line. It’s the franchise. It’s the team. Vice President John Paxson has done a remarkable job handling a very difficult situation from a management standpoint and Coach Hoiberg deserves credit as well handling questions from the media with sincerity and as much transparency as he can.

LeBron not a fan of Phil Jackson. Jackson dealt Melo – Melo a friend of James…we move on. What? Wait…Entes Kanter and LeBron in a skirmish at MSG. Kanter on James: “I don’t care what you call yourself – King, Queen, Princess – we’re gonna fight.” Really, Enes? Seriously? The Cavs scored 43 in the 4th quarter, Korver had 19 points in the period, to beat the Knicks..NY blew a 23 point lead…fun game for NBA fans…Frank Ntilikina is the first Knicks rookie with multiple games with 5 steals since Iman Shumpert in 2011-12.

With the addition of Eric Bledsoe, Milwaukee is 3-0 after beating Memphis.

“The Process” has arrived and the 76ers are an exciting team to watch. They handed the Clippers their sixth straight loss as Joel Embiid and Robert Covington combined for 63 points.

The Wizards recorded 30 assists in their win over the Kings..very disappointing start for Sacramento.

The Hawks dropped to 2-12 with a loss to Nola.

Portland held Denver to 33- second half points and got a much needed win.

No Rudy Gobert and the T-Wolves went to the rim and went to the win column in Salt Lake City. KAT picked up his 2-thousandth career rebound..he’s got 3-thousand points as well..all before the age of 22…that’s crazy, joining Dwight Howard in a rare category.

We will see the Suns in Phoenix on Sunday and it’s all Devin Booker ( 36 points vs Lakers)…and after that Interim Head Coach Jay Triano hopes someone else can step up. Lakers win 100-93

Steph Curry (thigh) sat out Golden State’s victory over Orlando..the Warriors have won seven straight.
